ATTENTION! Debit Card Purchases Limited Due to Recent Fraud
Due to recent fraud activity all GTFCU Visa Debit Cards will be temporarily limited to $500 per day in purchases and $625 per day in ATM/cash withdrawals effective 4/14/14. International and out-of-state purchases and ATM withdrawals will be limited to $200. The activity is likely connected to several recent merchant data breaches in which card numbers were stolen. Please be assured that the Credit Union was not breached; your personal and account information is safe and was not stolen. GTFCU will continue to monitor and investigate the situation and will raise limits as soon as it is safe to do so. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this action may cause. If you need to make a Debit Card purchase over $500 or if you are traveling out of the state or country, please contact your local branch for assistance or call Card Services at 800-749-9732 ext. 1005. We ask for your patience as you may experience longer than normal hold times over the phone. Thank you for your membership.
